HOW TO
What is Data Compression
We do have an internal compression engine that works during the backup process to speed up the upload, and to reduce the amount of bandwidth.
How does it work?
Our compression technology will internally compress the non-compressed files before uploading them to the Cloud. Once the data is uploaded, DaytaPol will decompress them on the server side, so they will be saved in their original format under the user’s account.
In an event those videos and music files are already in a compressed format, our technology does not do any extra compression.
